About Joan Arbisi Little

Dr. Joan Arbisi Little surrounds herself with art, children and civic work. After careers in graphic design and small business, Joan became an educator to pursue her love of teaching and learning. Her career as an educator spans 27 years as a teacher, program director, and administrator in district, charter and private schools. She is licensed by the state of Minnesota as a K-12 administrator and K-6 Teacher. She has experience teaching inventing and science fair at the elementary and middle school levels, and change leadership at the graduate level. As an educator, Joan promotes experiential and project based learning, and assessments that include portfolio, standard-based, qualitative and narrative methodology. An experienced project manager and evaluator, Joan provides technical support to urban and outstate business and community leaders. Joan is an adjunct faculty member at Concordia University St. Paul in the principal and superintendent licensure program where she serves on dissertation committees for Concordia’s Doctorate of Education candidates. As the executive director at Career Pathways public charter secondary school in St. Paul, Joan supports a diverse and creative teacher-led staff. Boys and Girls Basketball Teams


We are partnering with Lincoln International High School and Higher Ground Academy to create co-op teams for boys and girls basketball.  Registration forms are available in the office and at this link. Let us know if your parent would like to help with the teams.

First Thursday Presentation Night, Open House & PotLuck this Thursday, Nov. 2 from 5:30 to 7:30


  Students who are ready to share progress on projects will set up displays and present what they did to parents and classmates; families and staff will bring food to share. High School Parent Teacher conferences available by appointment. Please come and enjoy!

October Commencement 2017


In addition to completing all the Minnesota Department of Education graduation requirements, our students must complete the ACT or ASVAB, create a professional resume, and complete internship bridesmaid dress or paid work credits before they graduate.

Award winning Youthbuild recipient shares his story.


This senior participated in Youthbuild last year.  Not only did he learn about the building trades by working on construction sites all of last year, he received this award for his commitment and hard work. Youthbuild is a program with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development that strives to teach youth about the building
