We are writing poems in US History class. In our 1920s unit, students have been learning about the Great Migration and the Harlem Renaissance. Career Pathways works with our high school students to help them answer, “What do you want to do when you grow up?” One way some students can get a head start on this question is through the PSEO Program. In Ms. Thu’s advisory, the group created a Vision Board Project 2021. They created the photo collage above to visualize what they want to achieve in 2021. Ms. Thu reported that, “making it and having it with them will motivate and remind them to push harder. It was fun and nice.” Career Pathways is advisory
Bingo? Yes Bingo. Ms. Cristina and the Student Council led a fun all school zoom on Wednesday, Dec. 9th. Over 25 of us attended the zoom and everyone reported that they had a good time. For more information see our December Community News at this LINK.

This month the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools recognized Career Pathways for serving students for five years.
Thanks to our community support during distance learning, each student has been offered a backpack with a laptop and school supplies. As of today, we have loaned out 80 chromebooks. We received two palates of backpacks and school supplies from the Salvation Army and 1500 washable cotton face masks from a partnership with Marine Area
