Safe Learning Plans are required for 2022-2023 as plans are a federal requirement in the American Recovery Act for school districts/schools to receive ESSR funding. There are no new directives from MDE about the plans.

Please remember, if you need special accommodations, see the school director or our HR liaison for support.  This includes accommodations to to wear or not wear a mask.

Watch for daily emails from Ms. Liz about Covid health, learning opportunities, and quarterly surveys and meetings.

Our Student Engagement Committee welcomes your participation. They meet every other Thursday to review strategies to keep students engaged at school. Or email office@cpathmn.org  with any questions.

FOOD & NUTRITION

An important part of public education is our food and nutrition program.  We work with CKC Good Food to provide a healthy breakfast and lunch to all of our students.  Our students have many needs and we are considered Community Eligible which means that no one needs to pay for meals.  During Distance Learning we provide weekly meal pick up. Students who are at school for small group meetings are offered a snack.

During Distance Learning Career Pathways’ Nutrition Program has bundled breakfast, lunch, and milk available to all students on Mondays.  Families can sign up by emailing or calling the office.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

INTERNET AND TECHNOLOGY

FCC guidelines for adequate access for learning require Internet speeds of 25Mbps down / 3Mbps up. Please contact Dr. Joan if you need help getting adequate access.  During Distance Learning we provide chromebooks to many students.  We want to make sure each student has the Internet and technology to be successful.

OLDER RESOURCES

In 2020-2021 the Career Pathways Covid Planning Committee determined that we would begin the school year with Distance Learning with Support.

“With Support” means that we set up student meetings with teachers in the building in very small socially distanced groups for learning support.  All students benefit from 1:1 tutoring.  Since Covid 19 has made face-to-face large groups unsafe, we will meet in small support meetings as needed by appointment only.  Some students who have special learning needs may require regularly scheduled meetings.  Those are set up with the Advisor, family and support team staff members.

In accordance with Federal law, U.S. Department of Education, and Career Pathways School Board policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, or disability.

Authorized by Minnesota Guild of Public Charter Schools
