In Ms. Thu’s advisory, the group created a Vision Board Project 2021. They created the photo collage above to visualize what they want to achieve in 2021. Ms. Thu reported that, “making it and having it with them will motivate and remind them to push harder. It was fun and nice.”
Career Pathways is advisory based. During distance learning teachers meet with advisory students every day. Advisors are the main point of contact for families. Students earn elective credits in Advisory for participating in activities. Advisors are trained in Developmental Designs Advisory curriculum and focus on the social / emotional skills students need to be successful.
